Apple Stores!

We're giving you a chance to see POS•IM live on your own turf. We'll be showing POS•IM at the Houston Apple Stores on June 9th and 10th. Stop by to see how our Point of Sale software can help you manage every aspect of your retail business.

Presentations will be given on Mac software, but POS•IM for Windows is very similar. All users welcome.

POS•IM Software is happy to announce the release of both Diamond 4.5 and Premier 8.2. Both releases are available to new customers as well as current support contract holders. There are many new features and enhancements included in each version that we here at Ensign Systems are excited to bring to our customers.

We have added a few new web buttons on the Downloads page for anyone who is kind enough to link to our page. Put one or more of these buttons on your website to help us spread the word about POS•IM. We would be most appreciative.

POS•IM Diamond 4.5 for Mac and POS•IM Premier 8.2 for Windows are scheduled for release in the next few weeks. They will be sent to all current support contract holders with a valid e-mail address. There are many new features and enhancements included with each version that we here at Ensign Systems are excited to bring to our customers.

Many people have been wondering if POS•IM is compatible with the latest release of Mac OS X Leopard. We are pleased to announce that Diamond 4.4 is compatible and supported under the new Mac OS X Leopard. So if you are looking to upgrade your operating system, or are in the market for a new mac POS•IM won't hold you back. For a more detailed description of Diamond's operating requirements click here.

Kaysville, UT -6.1.2007- We have developed a new plan to expand support holders' knowledge and understanding of POS•IM on a continual basis. We call our plan Operation Educate! Each department will have the opportunity to send a POS•IM "How to Tip" to Support Holders on a bi-weekly basis. These tips will be sent by email, formatted for both Mac and Windows to benefit all. This will be a great tool in keeping everyone informed and up to date on all the latest happenings with POS•IM!

Kaysville, UT -6.1.2007- POS•IM Enhancements to look Forward to in the near future.

Diamond We will be ready to begin beta testing of Diamond 4.4 in the middle of this summer. This release is focused at the clothing industry, major enhancement are:

Style Cards – one card per style – from these cards the user can create all the member cards for the style, add additional member cards, view fields from the member style cards in a grid format, update member card fields, and view reports for the style. You will also be able to add Style items to a PO. We have built in a lot of flexibility, you can; change color names, add new sizes and colors and maintain the style all from one card.
Order by Style from the PO.
Post and Receive a purchase order in one-step.

Premier Connect (Multi-site) We will have a new release in early Fall that bypasses the item and vendor worksheets and allows new and changed items and vendors to flow directly between stores. When the purchasing agent adds a new item, changes an item, adds a new vendor, or changes a vendor, then that card will be added/changed at the other sites in almost real time speed. Say 5 minutes max. Nothing else for the user to do. Remote stores can be allowed the same privilege, if desired to add and maintain cards.

This will allow the Windows system to act similar to the Mac multi-site. However, it will transfer every couple of minutes.
