Duplicate Customer Check
POS•IM will automatically check for duplicate customers when you are entering customers directly from the Bill To windows and from the drivers license scanning screen.
POS•IM will check for duplicates based on the First Name, Last Name, House Number, City and State. It will check any and all fields, so if one person matches all fields then only one person will be returned. If you do not enter all the fields, for example only the city, then all customers who match the city will be returned.
Ending Tills Counter
The Ending Tills button assists the user in counting the coin and currency that is to be left in the till for tomorrows beginning balance. Simply click the Ending Tills button and fill in the count for each coin and currency type. The total will appear in the Ending Till field on your screen.
The Actual Deposit button assists the user in counting the coin, currency and checks that are to be deposited in the bank. Simply click the Actual Deposit button and fill in the count for each type of coin and currency. POS•IM can also look up and list the checks to be counted as well. Once you are finished the total will be placed on the ending tills.
